Nowadays, times are very busy and we often forget small but important things. When to pick up the laundry? What time the dentist appointment is? Pick up fresh milk and egg from the grocers. With work and school schedules these things are very easy to forget. Here are where kitchen notice boards come in.
Yes, notice boards are commonly placed in offices and rooms. You might ask why the kitchen? Well, having a notice board in an accessible area, like the kitchen, is very beneficial because it enables everyone – the parents and the kids, to have access and share the information easily.
There are typically 5 types of Kitchen Notice Boards:
Cork Kitchen Notice Boards – these are the typical type of notice boards. These are often seen and look perfect in a typical office environment. However, because of the convenience and the usefulness it provides, it is now being placed in kitchens. This is best placed in an open space on the wall.
Fabric Kitchen Notice Boards – these are basically notice boards made of fabric that you can use to pin notes and reminders on. For a more personal feel you can also pin up pictures and letters. The downside to this is, since it is placed on the kitchen the fabric might get easily stained, the easiest solution would be to get a fabric board which has a darker fabric.
Foam Kitchen Notice Boards – these are the boards that give out a more attractive finish and a more quirky look to your kitchen. The principles to these types of kitchen notice boards are the same. You need to pin stuff to it. Still the same though, need a darker shade of fabric.
Chalk or White boards as Kitchen Notice Boards – simple enough. You can basically write all reminders and notes for everyone to see. This is very handy because you can just write something and after the task is done immediately erase it. Easy, convenient and effective.
Magnetic Kitchen Notice Boards – these are specifically designed for kitchens. These are notice boards based on magnets. You can stick this on the fridge, on the oven. They come in all designs – both the conventional ones while there are some even more humorous and quirky designs like a speech bubble.
With all these types of notice boards that you can choose from you can definitely find one that will match your needs and preferences and the overall feel of and theme of your kitchen.

I love using my kitchen notice board. It makes it much easier to remember the shopping list and everything else that’s going on in my life rather than juggling it all in my head. Great article.
It gets used a hell of a lot in out kitchen, think we would be lost without it
