Cooker Extractors – Cooker Extractor Guide

Cooker Extractor

Cooker Extractors are a great way of getting the smoke and the smell out of the house while cooking. There are various types of cooker extractors and it is best to try and so some research before buying one. The best type of cooker extractor is one that allows you to vent it out through a wall, this can be tricky in some homes and may mean running the vent tube a long way around the kitchen. Sometimes its an impossible task depending on the our kitchen set-up.

To make a hole for your Cooker Extractor duct you will need a SDS Drill and some diamond cutters to get though the wall. The best way to do this is do drill the wall with a normal SDS bit first and then use this to guide the diamond cutter through. You may need to go on the outside of the building and drill from the other side. This is because in most cases because it will be hard to cut all the way through especially on a thick walls.
