If there is minor damage but you think you can still use the items make sure the driver marks it on his delivery note. Any damaged worktops that can not be used must be take back by the driver at the time of delivery. Worktops can not be exchanged if damage is claimed after the driver has gone. Checking your products for damage Place the worktops on a flat surface, somewhere with plenty of light. Look across the surface to check for any scratches or dents. you can then run your hand along post-formed edges to check for damage. Please Note there is usually only one driver delivering your products so for bigger items there must be someone available to help the driver offload.There must also be suitable access to the address for the lorry. |
